Obituary of Henrietta Wieler

In loving memory of Henrietta (Hattie) Wieler nee Friesen, January 11, 1932 to Monday, October 7, 2024.

It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of our dearly loved mom, grandma, great-grandma, aunt and friend.

Left to mourn are daughters Bonnie, Mary-Ann, Shelley and Helena their husband's John Hildebrand, Gerald Thiessen, Dave Reimer and Doug Koop, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren friends and relatives.

Hattie was predeceased by her husband Jake in 1999 and son Wesley in 1969, grandson-in-law Rick Kurbis 2018.

Being the last living sibling on both sides of the her immediate family, Hattie has a host of loved ones waiting for her on the other side including her parents, Jacob and Anna Friesen, sister Eva Dyck, brothers John, Peter, Jake and Dave Friesen and their spouses.

The come & go viewing will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2024, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB.

The celebration of her life will be held Sunday, October 20, 2024, at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB., at 2:00 p.m., with faspa and fellowship to follow. To join the family via livestream, please click HERE shortly before the service.
