Bertha, April and families,
My thoughts snd prayers are with you at the sudden passing of your husband , father , grandfather and friend. I didn't really know James but Bertha filled me in with alot of the rides they took on their bike. It sure sounded like they had a lot of fun! Cherish all the good memories.
God give you strength.

There are just simply no words to truly express at this time. Last time I saw James & Bertha (first cousins) was at breakfast the day after our Mom's service in Vernon (thank you for making that trip). And yes, waffles were served. Even though I never really got to know him that well, that breakfast was truly something special. Enjoyed our conversation and time together. His character showed thru, quiet, caring, cheerful and loving.
Condolences to you all. He is with his Savior Jesus now!

Anne and I would like to express our deepest condolences during this very difficult time, to you, Bertha and family. i have had the privilege of visiting with James in our place of business often, as well while on a motorcycle ride. it was always a pleasure. although brief he could share insight that revealed his mechanical knowledge very clearly. always a joy to chat with. i have known him for many years and i will miss him. May God give you strenght both now and in the days to come as you move forward, one step at a time.

So hard to understand how life can change so quickly like in a flash of light. I know we hear it all to often, all things happen for a reason there are times when that is very hard to understand. I met James a couple of times while I was helping his father at the buffalo ranch and from the first hand shake and the rest of the day I felt the kindness and the common sense approach this man had from within, I never forgot that. You left this mark with me and many others. You will be a great asset in your new life above. Our deepest thoughts and condolences Dale, April, Justin, Cody, Christine and to all Bertha and family.

Wow. Hard to believe James has passed on. I marvelled at James’ brilliance and insatiable love for creativity. James was the guy who fabricated tools to fabricate machines to fabricate parts that he needed to build his next project. I will miss all our conversations we had at S.A.R. about what new idea he had going on in his head. I’m pretty sure something must be busted in heaven and God needed James to come and figure out how to fix it. We will miss you. Google will never come close to matching your ingenuity. Thank you for showing us that there is always a solution for life’s challenges.
