Obituary of Freda Bourrier

Freda Louise Marie Bourrier (Born Rougeau) 62 years of age of LaBroquerie, Manitoba, passed away after a lengthy battle against pancreatic cancer surrounded by family in her home on Monday, February 21, 2022.

She is survived by her beloved husband Alexandre, her daughter Nicole and her husband Marc as well as her son Sylvain and his fiancée Megan. Her grandchildren Annabelle, Dior, Chanel and Félix. Her siblings Colette, Linda, Monique, Norman, Gilbert, Rheal and their families. She will be lovingly remembered by her in-laws, Annette, Suzanne, Rita, Lillianne, Ronald, Denis, Albert and Paul Jeannine, and their families. She was predeceased by her mother Anne-Marie Parent and her brother Robert Parent. Memorial to be planned in the near future.

Married for 40 years to Alexandre, blessed with two children, Nicole & Sylvain. She dedicated her life to being a fantastic and wonderful mother. Freda excelled at propping up her children and grandchildren and supporting them through the many passions and difficulties of their lives. She made it her mission to improve the lives of others. And this extended in her career. As a janitor at l’école St-Joachim to part time relief as an educational assistant then a school bus driver, she found many ways to be of great influence to as many children as possible. She very much enjoyed all things pertaining nature, relaxing while camping; her second homes during summer were St-Malo provincial park and Betula Lake, where she found and cherished very many friendships. She would also spend much of her spare time tending to her family home, yard and garden. She’ll be dearly missed by all her family, friends, coworkers and even her pets as she truly went out of her way to make a lasting impression in every one of her interactions.
