My heartfelt condolences Brenda, to you and your family for the loss of your spouse. I definitely have lots of memories of Curt and the good times we enjoyed with Curt and you. He was more than generous and I can remember how he and you invited us to live with you guys prior to my transfer to Cambridge Bay since our house sold more quickly than we anticipated.
Thank you for that and all the other memories I have of Curt.
Regards
Ed Tanner

Uncle Curt.. My heart hurts today. To say goodbye is something you never think you'll have to do. You gave my Stacia and I our most treasured memories. Your selfless heart and contagious smile are only a few things that changed our lives forever. You truly were one of the greatest human beings I ever had the privilege of knowing. You never know the true value of a moment until it becomes a memory treasured forever. Your heart was kind, your smile contagious and your legacy will last forever! Fly high with the Angels dearest Curt! You are and will always be Loved

I am deeply saddened to hear of Curt’s death. Brenda, my thoughts are with you and your family. I have only fond memories of my friendship with Curt, we were so spontaneous, our lives filled with adventure, and yes, mischief. Had we not come up with the idea of the four-day school week? We played a lot of hockey, that might have had its roots in hooky. Curt was the best of friends, someone I could always trust and count on. I miss him dearly.

Curt was someone that welcomed me when I came from a one room country school to Steinbach. He was a great school mate ...always appreciated him. He was one person that made time to say “ Hello” and “How are you”! It’s the little things in life that make the difference! He always did. RIP... Curt

Oh Brenda and family...we are so sorry to hear about your loss. We have good memories- lots of fun ones- of Curt from different stages in our lives, but a significant one is how Brian admired and respected him, as a member of the Fire Department. As we chatted last week about the beautiful legacy Helen left in this world, Curt also leaves a legacy in community service, and in many personal relationships. At the end of the day, ‘people will remember how you made them feel’ and Curt made people feel good, and leaves his kind and caring heart legacy with so many! We are thinking of you - hugs to all. Take care.

Condolences to Brenda, family, and friends of Curt, on his passing from this life.
Curt was an excellent drummer, my band-mate, with whom I played many a gig and practice. His drumming was rock-solid, and I recall that powerful, rolling beat to this day.
Curt’s big-hearted laughter, friendly nature, and outgoing ways will be fondly remembered.
