I had the privilege to meet Joyce on several occasions over the last decade and was always inspired by her spirit and the closeness of the family, good times and bad. I visited her a couple of times while she was recovering from her stroke in 2016 and was in awe of her determined rapid improvement. She didn't prove me wrong in recovering from her latest major surgery and leaving rehab behind on her own terms. Unfortunate that visitors had been so limited over the past year, and thus I haven't been able to see her for many months. My condolences to the family. So happy that you were all able to get there to say your goodbyes.

We offer our deepest condolences to the family of Joyce Beck. She was truly a kind and thoughtful woman to us and our daughter.
She always remembered our birthdays and anniversaries. Her lovely cards will now be cherished keepsakes. It is indeed comforting to know she is rejoicing in heaven with our Lord and reunited with her family that have gone before her. Sincerely, Neil and Theresa Friesen

Aunty Joyce will be truly missed. She was a very special person. She always told me when I was young that cleanness was next to Godlyness, and till this day when I am cleaning I hear her word and smile. She would always tell me that she was my second mother, which she was, Her husband Jake was my father’s Brother and they were best friends, so we grew up together. I will miss her laughter, kindness, love and phone calls. Loved you lots Aunt Joyce, I will never forget you, you will be always in my heart, rest now, you are with Jesus.

Your mom was a friend of our family and we saw her many times in growing up as neighbours of the Broesky family in La Broquerie. In fact my mom liked her name so much she named one of her twins, Joyce and that is me. I saw her a little while back and had a nice talk with her.
Please accept my condolences on your loss.

Aunty Joyce, our last ‘secret’ visits will forever be ingrained into my head and heart. Your appreciation for the little things, the ride in the car, visit with your sister, the meal at the restaurant & the shopping trip all was so wonderful for you. It was a pleasure and a privilege to spend that time with you. And what a gift to have had that last conversation on the telephone last week! Again you were expressing your thankfulness.
Such an example to us all. ❤️

How I will miss you my precious friend. I will miss talking to you every week. I will miss you saying, " this is your pesky friend," when you called. I will miss the prayer times we had at the close of our chats. Oh, I will just miss you, so, so much, Joyce. I am so happy for you that you are home.
My deepest sympathies to you, children as you live out your lives without your mom. God bless you and keep you, and your families. May God's richest comfort envelop you all, as you lay your precious mama to rest and in the days and weeks ahead.
