I met Bill in 2018 on my second visit at Rest Haven. He instantly became a favorite with his quick wit and teasing. I thoroughly enjoyed visiting with him as he shared stories with raw emotion. I appreciated his sincerity and although he portrayed a strong exterior at times, he was quick to turn to mush with his big heart. I loved singing with him during the hymn singing and one of my favorite things was to hold his hand and pray for him about whatever we had been talking about that day. The memory I most cherish was the day I asked him if he would pray for me. His one-line prayer struck a chord so deep, I knew that it was straight from God. I love Bill and I look forward to bugging him in heaven with more talks! My condolences to the family.
