Peacefully, in his sleep and after a lengthy illness, Arsène Therrien of La Broquerie, Manitoba, passed away at Bethesda Hospital on Saturday, February 17, 2007 at 83 years of age. Arsène leaves to mourn his four sons; Normand (Lori), Luc (Nicole), Richard (Debbie) and Gilbert (Barbara); one daughter, Carole; and 11 grandchildren. He also leaves to mourn two sisters, Louise Mireault and Simone Hébert, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Arsène was predeceased by his wife, Justine (née Morier), his parents Cléophas and Elisabeth, brothers Jean-Marie, Emmanuel and Séraphin, and sisters Églantine, Justine, and Herméline. Prayer services will be held at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 150 Penfeld Drive, Steinbach, MB, on Wednesday, February 21 at 7:00 PM. The Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Thursday, February 22 at the St. Joachim Parish Church at 11:00 AM in La Broquerie, MB. The family extends warm gratitude and thanks to Dr. Ilchyna and nursing staff at the Bethesda Hospital, as well as to the Dialysis Unit team at St. Boniface Hospital.
