Elizabeth (Lisa) Reimer, aged 85, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 16, 2001 at Resthaven Nursing Home in Steinbach, Manitoba. She was born on January 23, 1916 near Blumenhoff and lived most of her life in Manitoba. Elizabeth was predeceased by her husband John A. Reimer in March of 2001, grandson Daniel Friesen and son-in-law Gary Hollingsworth. She leaves to cherish her memory her children Lydia Loewen (Ed) of Winnipeg, Janet Hollingsworth of Ottawa; Dory Reimer of Montreal, John Reimer (Betty) of Steinbach, Marina Friesen (Danny) of Steinbach, and Chester Reimer of Ottawa, as well as 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, the 20th of December, 2001 at 2:00 p.m. at the Evangelical Mennonite Church, 422 Main Street, in Steinbach with viewing prior to the service.
