It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Tony Penner on September 15, 2000 at his residence in Oakbank, MB. at the age of 55 years. He was born August 24, 1945 in Paraguay, South America. He was predeceased by his son Stanley, his mother, 2 brothers, 1 sister and his mother in law. He is survived by his beloved wife Agnes, children; Jacqueline, James, Sherri, and Steven; his father Ben S. Penner and 5 brothers, 6 sisters and their families as well as his wife’s family. Viewing will take place on Monday, September 18, 2000 from 7-8 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB. with a devotional to follow . Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, September 19, at 2:00 p.m. at the Silberfeld C.M.Church with Rev. Cornie Ginter and John Penner officiating. Interment will take place in churchyard cemetery. Viewing 1 hour prior to service. Should friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
