Marina Toews, of Grunthal, MB, passed away accidentally, near Grunthal, Thursday, September 7, 2006, at the age of 16. Marina attended Green Valley School in Grunthal. Marina is survived by her parents, Isaac and Sarah Toews, and three brothers, Ron, Abe, and Leonard. She was predeceased by one sister, Elma, in Paraguay. Viewing will be held on Monday, September 11, 2006 at 7:00 PM at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, with a devotional at 8:00 PM. The Funeral service will be held Tuesday, September 12, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. the Somerfeld Mennonite Church in New Bothwell, with interment at the church cemetery. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
