Obituary of Louis Rene Bourgouin

Louis Rene Bourgouin, age 65, of La Coulee, MB., passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Monday, August 12, 2024 at Health Sciences Centre, Winnipeg, MB.

He is survived by his wife Debra of 30 years and mother Yolande Simard. Four sisters plus one brother, SuzAnne (Denis, deceased), Lise (Al), Denise, Edouard (Deborah), Rita (Louis). Sisters-in-law Donna (Rob), Christine (Trevor, deceased). He will also be lovingly remembered by numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.

He was predeceased by his father Joseph Bourgouin, and sister Cecile Simard (Guy).

He worked at a manufacturing plant, in management for over 40 years, retiring at 57.

Louis had a profound love for golfing, which he tried to do everyday. He also enjoyed gardening and recently got into off roading in his Polaris RZR and hunting. His carpentry skills are obvious with their house construction and numerous building on the yard. Never shy to lend a helping hand he will be missed by all the people he touched.

Funeral service will be held at a later date.
